r-project.org address blacklisted by anti-spam software
Dear List: An e-mail mentioning the r-project.org address and sent to a friend at a German university was considered spam by the local spam filter. Its reasoning: the URL "r-project.org" is blacklisted at uribl.swinog.ch resp. at antispam.imp.ch. Logwatch reporting spamassassin messages as unmatched entries
I've recently switched to using spamassassin via a sendmail milter, rather than using procmail to invoke it. This means that I get a number of messages appearing in my maillog, and then being reported by logwatch as unmatched entries. An example of such a messages is: Feb 27 04:33:09 quail sendmail[24780]: p1R4X46P024780[2]: URIBL blacklist\n\t* [URIs: tablettoxicspillsrx.ru]\n\t* 1.5

If I sorted all 7 of the IP addresses

Fast forward to 2012, some 15 years later. woof..the amount of spam sent to me has always just kept getting worse and worse. On my centos 5 server I just used sendmail with spamassassin and it killed a

Amavisd Howto
Hello CentOS Docs People! I recently used the Amavisd howto to setup a couple of mailservers, which saved me from hours of searching online and reading novels of documentation. Since Ned is taking a little break from the Amavisd page, I would like to help contribute. There were a few things I'd like to add, like GTUBE/EICAR testing and SELinux config lines. My wiki username is WilliamFong.

Rejected mails
I'm getting closer, now with SMTP permitted to whole of Internet to connect to my SMTP/postfix server & for my postfix server to connect out to public Internet on tcp 25 as well. I send emails from permitted domain's SMTP servers with "Receipt Acknowledgemt" & the ack returned said it was delivered but somehow there's no mail in the mailbox & using the site below
