Hello everybody!
/(First I need to apologize becase I mussunderstood the prupose of
libvirt-list and I sent this mail there instead of this list)/
I would like to introduce myself, as this is my first contact with

documentation).
My name is Joaquim Barrera, from Barcelona, Catalonia. I am a computer

Based on this, if I execute regular 1.1.1 'virsh uri' as a non-root I
would read qemu:///session, but instead I get qemu:///system in my computer.

libvirt with multiple users
Hi,
I'm trying to set up a virtual machine server for our newly re-founded LUG
at my school. The idea is for members to have their own virtual machine that
they can learn their way around a Linux system without worry of them hosing
the host system or their own computers.
At home I use libvirt with my server to manage multiple virtual machines,
but the issue I'm running into for this use

When run as root, virsh connects to the system libvirt daemon by default (URI
qemu:///system). As a non-privileged user, qemu:///session is used and the
daemon is run as the user.
See http://libvirt.org/uri.html#URI_qemu

virDBusCallMethod:1173 : Launch helper exited with unknown return code
Good morning,
I'm using libvirtd on Gentoo.
This is libvirt version: 1.1.3.1
I have trouble starting a VM using virsh start $vm. I do this as root, because as non-root user it did not work at all (especially it failed attaching to the networks). So, when I run the command (with sudo), I get the following error in libvirtd.log:
