variation on vioplot?
I have been using the package vioplot to make boxplot/densityplots. Now I am looking for a variation of this, and I was wondering if someone could give me any tips on how to do what I want. I have nine groups of values, each group containing two sets of numbers which show the difference between two values, such as this: Start dev Stop dev -1 10 5 -2 0

[LLVMdev] Problems with 'make check'

Aaron, Please note that the path is (purposefully) not used to locate test executables. Many of us have many LLVM environments and using the path leads to confusion.

Print 128 bit value at runtime using printf
Hi, I was trying to print out a 128 bit result at runtime using a call to printf in LLVM. I am able to print 32 uptil 64 bit integers using the format string "%d" in printf . Please see the code in red below , as I am having a bit difficulty in trying to print the 128 bit value computed at runtime. The code in red is never executed since the value may never be casted to a

Getting smbpasswd file to work alongside unencrypted ones
We operate a samba('18p10) server accessed by WIN3.11, 9x & NT4 clients, security=share. Uptil now, the NT clients have been pre service pack 3 & therefore sent cleartext passwords. Post-SP3 we need to enable encrypted passwords for the NT clients whilst preserving cleartext for the rest. For various (political) reasons, we cant' get the clients to use the registry hack to

Error in v64i32 type in x86 backend
also i further run the following command; llc -debug filer-knl_o3.ll and its output is attached here. by looking at the output can we say that legalization runs fine and the error is due to instruction selection/ pattern matching which is not yet implemented? so do i need to worry and try to correct it at this stage or should i move forward to implement instruction selection/ pattern matching?

[LLVMdev] Files to lib/System/Win32
Hi What did I start? <*shrug*> Well, well, well. First a little bit of history: I joined the LLVM project, because the ideas sounded very interesting to me and I voluntered for a minor patch for prefetch datasupport for the gcc-compiler. At that time, when I joined, the only possibility to develop on the windows platform was to use Cygwin Unix Windows emulation layer, but it had some
