Removing the LoopInstSimplify pass
Hi, I think we should remove the LoopInstSimplify pass, as it has no test coverage and no users (afaik). If you are using the pass, or think that it should stay in tree for some other reason, please let me know. Here's the patch: https://reviews.llvm.org/D44053 <https://reviews.llvm.org/D44053> vedant -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

opencall.org is changing to soft-switch.org
Hi, Anyone using my spandsp or unicall software please note that opencall.org is shifting to soft-switch.org. HP have a line of telephony products called Opencall, which were very obscure in 1999, when I registered opencall.org. A search for "opencall" on Google back then returned only references to theatrical agents. opencall.com and opencll.net were theatrical sites. Now a search

[LLVMdev] Passes calling
...cise and I think we can make it even better. I still need to document some of this, but want to hold off on doing tons of documentation of guarantees and invariants until I have more things converted over (but not enabled of course) so that I'm more confident that the invariants promised can be upheld. =] Sure, I’m just gently floating some ideas without spending much time understanding how the new design works. The part that seems limiting to me is that a transform has to return a set of invalidated analysis. I supposed that set by default contains all the cached analyses and the transform se...

[LLVMdev] Code for late safepoint placement available
As I've mentioned on the mailing list a couple of times over the last few months, we've been working on an approach for supporting precise fully relocating garbage collection in LLVM. I am happy to announce that we now have a version of the code available for public view and discussion. https://github.com/AzulSystems/llvm-late-safepoint-placement

WARNING: Break-in attempts
Greetings all, I''m forwarding a copy of an email I sent reporting attempted break-ins on my main server, earth.terran.org. I am forwarding this because I think it is relevant that folks watch for this kind of activity in their logs to catch people who "try doorknobs" in the middle of the night. After sending this email, I sent a talk request to the user, who was still logged
