Rails without Gems?
All,
Caveat: New user naivete to follow.
I''m starting an application in Rails and I can''t use Gems. (There are
legal implications in deploying unknown code here.) But Rails seems to
have an extraordinary dependence on Gems.
If I say ''rails PROJECT'', then the PROJECT directory gets created with
supporting scripts, etc., but since they work internally

Network booting FreeBSD with gpxelinx almost works (fwd)
...mation about implementing chainbooting
for FreeBSD.
There are a number of web pages showing how to install FreeBSD from an ISO
image over the net - this is not what we want to do. We are currently
using the built-in facilities of FreeBSD to boot over the net and wish to
continue without a major upheaval. Our setup is described at:

Following the upheavals in the Canadian telecom market it is now

Stentor's standard also allows for a Parameter Type 06, which

I''m all for moving - the lag is frustrating. As to the filters, mine is
set on having the [xen-devel] tag in the subject, so as long as that

[LLVMdev] Fwd: Correct way to resolve recursive type information?
...actually one pass over the syntax
tree to declare all namespaces and type names, then recursively specialize
templates and infer types for variable definitions, then a pass to construct
structured types including template specializations). However, I want to get
LLVM in quickly and with the minimum upheaval so I don't want to start a
major refactoring of this code if I don't need to. Having read read the
manual I think I'll be OK so long as I use type handles for any type I want
to hold references to until all refineAbstractTypeTo()'s are done.

[LLVMdev] Correct way to resolve recursive type information?
Hi,
I've followed the instructions on constructing recursive types (
http://llvm.org/docs/ProgrammersManual.html#BuildRecType) and I can
succesfully create simple recursive types using the C bindings (e.g. struct
Test { struct Test *t };). I want to generalize this to get type information
from my language into generated LLVM code. My language allows arbitrary
forward type declarations that I

"Found a bug" message when purging services
I attempted the following:
resources { service: purge => true, noop => true }
service {
sshd: ensure => running;
iptables ensure => running;
}
And got the following message:
notice: Starting configuration run
err: Found a bug: uninitialized constant Parse
notice: Finished configuration run in 0.47 seconds
When I remove the ''resources'' line, everything works
