Strange saving Errors with Office 2007 since i upgradede from 4.1.3 to 4.1.4
Hi,
Upgraded our debian wheezy servers last week from sernet 4.1.3 to 4.1.4.
Since then i get some strange behaviour with Office 2007 for users with
roaming profiles.
If an User opens an Word document via double click on an file in an
network share (happens on samba 4.1.4 and as well on MS Server
2003/2008/2008 R2) and tries to safe the file he gets an "this file can

CentOS 6, bareos, kerberos?
After upgradeding to bareos 15.2, which also has a web ui, thereby making
it usable (since the command line tool, bconsole, does not have a paging
mechanism, and its sytax for choosing files to restore is, let us say,
arcane), I've got another question: is *anyone* using bareos with
kerberos? I see that they hav...

When upgrading, it might happen you see and upgrade error.
Verify if libldb1 is removed and if not.:
apt-get remove libldb1
And continue the upgrade.
Important here is to make sure the smb.conf is compliant with latest version your installing.
That helps while upgradeding from apt.

One more upgrade question
Hi,
I have a running samba 4.7.6+dfsg~ubuntu-0ubuntu2.15 on a ubuntu 18.04
server and would like to upgrade to van Belle latest repo. My plan is
plain simple:
1. Deploy a new ubuntu 18.04 server
2. Add van Belle repo
3. Install and *then* join the domain as a DC
4. Demote and remove the old one
Is this OK?
Thanks, best regards.

Corrupted transaction log file / record size too small
I recently upgradeded dovecot on one of our servers from version 1.0.10
to version 1.1.3. Ever since, we've been seeing occasional errors
similar to this sequence (with the username and IP addresses elided):

Sep 30 00:09:56 alcor dovecot: wrapper[5006]: pop3, XXXX, NNN.NNN.NN.NNN
