The issue seems to be present in any LDAP userdb iteration handling, but it
only seems to cause a crash in certain conditions which seem to be
reproducibly caused by our setup for some reason.
We?re seeing one of two errors.

CentOS 4.2: kernel version
Hello
Installing sw on a CentOS 4.2 (iso version) I notice that the kernel
version is
2.6.9-22.0.1.Elsmp
in RH4 UP2 the kernel version is 2.6.9-22.Elsmp
Some sw complain and check the kernel version.
Why this specific version extension 0.1 ?
Thanks for your help
Sorry if this question was already asked.

HTB problem...
Hi folks.
Let''s say I would like to make some bandwidth control on my network
using HTB. I have 2 clients:
PC1: 192.168.100.2
PC2: 192.168.100.3
Server:
192.168.100.1
This has 2 NIC''s eth1 is local and eth2 is connected to the internet.
It could be nice to have a script, where you could specify, how much
bandwidth you want for a specific host on a network, like, PC1 has

problems on plotting adjacent bars with barplot. Help request, please
...eric(l)
both[1:l%%2==1]<-y[,1]
both[1:l%%2!=c(0,1)]<-y[,2]
both[1:l%%2==0]<-y[,3]
labels<-character(l)
labels[1:l%%2==1]<-n
xv<-barplot(both,col=rep(c(1,2,3),17),
ylim=c(0,max(y)+e[1]),names=labels)
up<-x[,1]+e
down<-x[,1]-e
arrows(xv,up,xv,down,code=3,angle=90,length=0.025)
up2<-x[,2]+e
down2<-x[,2]-e
arrows(xv,up,xv,down,code=3,angle=90,length=0.025)
up3<-x[,3]+e
down3<-x[,3]-e
arrows(xv,up,xv,down,code=3,angle=90,length=0.025)
}
i guess the "both" instruction is fake 'cause the plot
looks really wrong.
i have also tried this other one.

Common Linux Power Management (HAL and NUT) (was: Re: ideas for a new UPS infrastructure)
...ed by NUT, which limit work (no
duplicated codebase), and potentialy give support for UPSs of all
kind.
- we _must_ keep NUT compat at upsd/upsmon level (read theim runnable)
in the long run, for linux to be able to serve as an UPS data server
to other OSs, while doing the best integration with hal up2 g-p-m and
the like.
1rst code round (quick to be done):
- limit support to 1 local USB UPS,
- stick to hal battery namespace,
- create a NUT client that listen for the local UPSs and translate
into HAL info (project name: nut2hal),
- upon initial USB UPS pluggin, hal (through addon-ups?):
