...k fine, except that any files I create through Windows Explorer I can't delete again (I can edit them and create more files, but I can't delete anything.) Viewing properties on the file indicates that the DOMAIN\htdocs_access group doesn't have Delete permission (the Delete checkbox is unticked) but the other permissions seem fine. I didn't realise that Samba treated Delete access separately to Write access - how do I grant Delete access on a folder? Thanks, Adam.

Whenever I send a print job from a W95 client to a raw printer on my Linux box, I get a blank page automatically. When I print directly from Linux this does not occur. I have seen more subscribers mentioning this problem, but never did I see a solution for this. Can somebody help me out? Hi All, I used to always do a minimal install with v4.4, and wget (and other tools) was included. With v5 if i untick *everything* in the installation (incl "base") so that i can install from 1 cd, wget is not included. I couldn't make sense of any of the xml or xml.gz files on the installation cd. (/dev/cdrom/repodata/*), although they do mention wget as 'default' rather than 'mandato...

Hi List. doing my weekly updates with yum last night installed kernel.x86_64 2.6.18-194.17.4.el5.centos.plus and flash-plugin.i386 10.1.102.64-release now today as I go to watch a movie from hulu.com it crashes the flash-plugin whenever I try to go full screen. Anyone else notice this behaviour? I guess I'll try to downgrade flash and see if that fixes the problem. TIA --------------

...If I tick the 'let window manager control window' in winecfg, Diablo freezes up as soon as I minimize it. I can still hear the music playing, but garbage is displayed in the window when I give it focus again. I don't know what could be causing this, desktop effects are disabled. I have a USB soundcard that I have tried to run with Dragon NaturallySpeaking. It doesn't work unless I set winecfg to oss instead of alsa. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? How do I get alsa over USB? Thanks, Susan Cragin

...9;m using wine 1.1.37 and TM Forever 2.11.21 en on Kubuntu Karmic. Most track play fine (with compositing turned off), but on some tracks the framerate is so low (1-2 fps) they are unplayable. These tracks include: A01, D08, E01, and a couple more. I tried lowering resolution, using windowed mode, unticking effects ckeckboxes in advanced configuration and it didn't help even a bit. Do anybody know any method where I can stream my images to icecast server using some intermediate png to ogg conversion and then using oggfwd. Basically, I am organizing some workshop. I have already stream video. Slides and presentation stuff can be streamed separately but there I have fight with synchronization slides and video. in long term i will prefer this. Meanwhile, I solved my problem with a simpler fix (please see attached file)/. / This requires that term labels are not "ticked". I think this is better, since it is easier to have column names unticked. New development function is IMO unnecessarily complicated. It requires strings to be ticked or as.name().
