[LLVMdev] fp_round libcall
...StackConvert. What if I want a libcall instead? What should I do? The libcall FROUND_F64_F32 is there, but it seems that it cannot be reached without hacking. What should I do to support this? Am I missing something? Thanks, -- Bruno Cardoso Lopes http://www.brunocardoso.cc "When faced with untenable alternatives, you should consider your imperative."

Virsh shutdown all command?
Hello: Is there a command in virsh to shutdown all domains? I can do one at a time, but that is untenable for a large number of domains. Bug: Dovecot appending "MISSING_DOMAIN" to fetch envelope responses
...ing it from providing an appropriately localised explanation or visual indication of the problem in the user interface, or simply avoid ever requesting IMAP envelopes from the server and always download and parse the complete RFC822 headers itself (as I believe Thunderbird does). The former is untenable since "MISSING_DOMAIN" does not mean anything to non-English speakers, the latter is untenable since it unnecessarily inflates the of volume of data that must be transmitted over the wire to work around a server bug. In these cases, or when any other part of a required IMAP addres...

vanilla build of 7.7p1 release on linux/4.17 fails with gcc8 @ "/usr/bin/ld: unrecognized option '-Wl,-z,retpolineplt'"

That would be simpler than > trying to code around this particular problem. The build certainly works if unset LD or LD=gcc so it's certainly not untenable; just a bit befuddling it you've got LD=ld in use. I'm curious as to what's unique/new here -- as I've typically got LD=ld set (by env) for other builds, and don't see this problem. I've also built previous versions of openssh, with earlier versions of GCC/LD (pre r...

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] RFC: A proposal to move toward using C++11 features in LLVM & Clang / bounding support for old host compilers
...39;m objecting to 1 month for svn trunk - 2 months notice is even pushing it imho. 1) This is imho not the small change which it's being presented as 2) As someone else stated - there are projects tracking svn trunk and telling them to just stop doing that and follow the previous release is untenable without sufficient notice. (It just doesn't seem fair) May I humbly propose you create a c++11-development branch now/later/anytime and let people start using that. In parallel to that let people know that pieces of the c++11 branch will potentially start merging Feb 1st 2014. (roughly...

[LLVMdev] Making GEP into vector illegal?
...should become a subclass of ArrayType. This would get rid of a lot of duplicated code, and also fix a bunch of problems with vectors (eg: that sizes are wrong; currently we think that a <n x i1> has length n bits, and that a vector <n x x86_fp80> has length 80*n bits, both of which are untenable). From this point of view you have to allow GEP into a vector; the conclusion I suppose is that codegen needs to replace GEP+load or GEP+store with an extract or insert operation. Ciao, Duncan.

[LLVMdev] MSIL and MIPS backend for LLVM
Hello everyone, I'm a little new to LLVM. I know that the backends are still in experimental stage. MSIL and MIPS would be very useful for a project that I'm working on. Do you have any plans to have it completed in the next few months? I could generate the MSIL assembly but when compiled it, which compiles sucessfully, it generates invalid opcode errors.

[LLVMdev] Trying to compile llvm-gcc to mips
...'m working right now. What I suggest is that you begin the cross-compilation using llvm-gcc TOT, and when it breaks, use cc1 directly to emit llvm bytecode specific for mips. Then, use llc. If you have doubts, just ask :) -- Bruno Cardoso Lopes http://www.brunocardoso.cc "When faced with untenable alternatives, you should consider your imperative."
