For almost 40 years SAS has been the primary tool for statisticians
worldwide and its easy-to-learn syntax, unsurpassed graphical system,
powerful macro language and recent graphical user interfaces have made
SAS the number one statistical software choice for both beginners

Skipping problems on outgoing calls (using uLaw with an internal * server through Voxee)
Hello all,
I am using a headset and the X-lite softphone (sometimes I use IAXComm,
but I'm having difficulties using OSS emulation with it) to connect via
uLaw to my internal Asterisk server, which is a Pentium II 400 with 128
megs of RAM. After getting this headset, most or all of the echo people
on the other line were complaining about is now gone, according to them.
However, every

R usage -- for article
Hello all,
I write a decision-support column for a computing magazine,
Intelligent Enterprise. In my next column, I'll be revisiting a topic I
wrote on 3 years ago, open-source analytical software. R is perhaps the
most successful open-source analytical package.
I'd like to hear from users, especially those who chose R for some
other reason than that it's free, about what

It is not about the size of the ISO filesystem. Debian has 25 GB
bootable ISOs.
It is about the size of the FAT image which serves as EFI System
Partition inside the ISO. And it is about an unsurpassable limit
of 16 bit numbers: If i add 1 to 65535 i get 0 as result.
We have two chances with real firmware:
- The Sector Count is ignored and FAT filesystem size is used
insteadi as partition size.
- The official values 0 or 1 are interpreted correctly and
the partition spans up to the end of the...

Margins on tables
It has long been a nuisance to me not being able to form margins on
multiway tables in a simple fashion, so i wrote margins().
In my opinion it should go into the base package. The code and the
documentation is in:
http://www.biostat.ku.dk/~bxc/R/margins/
Please help yourself, and enhance and rename as you see fit.
