Earlier, after installing Red Hat 9, I tried to install wine, but it Had Problems, even when I tried some of the solutions. So I waited. Recently, I tried to install an updated version of wine using an rpm, so I tried to unstall the old stuff. Wouldn't uninstall, and the rpm wouldn't install. So I deleted as much as I could figure out was there, verified that the rpm still wouldn't install (I assume it is on a database somewhere), downloaded the tarball for wine 20041201 and tried to install that. Hi, I keep getting the below error regarding rJava which is required by package xlsx (I have used it in the past to directly import data from Excel 2010). I was on R version 2.15.0 when I was getting this error this morning. So I upgraded to 2.15.1 but still the same problem. I also operate an HP T1500 G3 which it's an Eaton made UPS. Connected on usb i get frequent communication errors and data aquisition stopped. Mine has a serial connection, also. Operating via serial has no trouble. Maybe it's something related to usb setting in bios, i.e. Legacy mode, speed setting, etc. However on serial mode looks like the eaton or hoe power protector software does not

Hi I'm working on installing R and Rcmdr on a Mac running Leopard. I've had it running in the past and had to reinstall 11X iwhen putting some notes together for students.
