VoiceOne 0.4.0 released: a new web-based and open source GUI
...ed and open source solution which allows to fully manage an Asterisk service hosted on a LAMP server. We focused on an charming and overall user-friendly interface. Thanks to the authentication based on roles, once configured by a super user, the PBX may be easily maintained even by an Asterisk unskilled users. From a technical point of view, the application is made up of two modules: one for the client - i.e. the user interface - and the other for the server. Thanks to the web services provided by the server module and the use of a database, VoiceOne may be easily integrated with other appli...

barplots with no lines around each bar
Hi, I want to do a barplot with no black lines drawn around each bar and no space between each bar. I can do the nospace bit but keep getting black line around each bar no matter what I try. Ie. for a red bar I want a red border, for a yellow bar a yellow border and so on. I've tried everything I can think of but no luck. Any suggestions? At the moment I'm using R 5.1 under Redhat Linux

Migrating user profiles from local to domain
....exe" to change the local profile for "keith" to be the profile for the domain user "keith" 4. Delete the local user "keith" Could it be that simple? Unfortunately I'm about 4000 km away from the server & any PC's right now, and have to walk "unskilled" people through any testing, so I can't really test & experiment too much on my own. Also, I'm trying to find the "RIGHT" way to do this, rather than just a way that "WORKS". Thanks for any assistance! Cheers, Steve Williams

Hackers on my Web server
I have discovered that a gamer has hacked into my web server through a backdoor left open by my predecessor. I have closed the door, but when I try to delete the folders left behind I receive "Access Denied", or when I try to take ownership I receive "Unable to Find File...". I have removed most of the files to obtain enough space to continue operations but would like to remove

File size is sometimes 0 after saving
...o a share is pretty slow, too. Maybe excessive calls to the LDAP system, which could cause the above problem and slows everything down? I've also increased the log level and had a look at the entries, when the problem happened. But there was nothing different to a normal save (as far as my unskilled eyes could see). This really happens only with a few programs, not all. As if they're requesting something that can't be delivered all the time and then they're just stopping to save the files and display an error. (At least some of them do this, so we know that something went wrong...

Is Vorbis prone to clipping?
Hi, with the Lame MP3 encoder I reduce the amplitude of the input signal prior to encoding with the --scale option to prevent clipping that can be introduced due to resampling errors. Is Vorbis prone to this sort of clipping? <p>Headless --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a

Vorbis on Legacy hardware
I'm currently in the process of making a linux distro made specifically to run on legacy hardware. My test system is a compaq 486/33. I was wondering if anyone has tried playing ogg vorbis on a system this old. Does it play without skipping or anything? If so, are there any really small and efficient media players that would run on this kind of hardware? If that doesn't work I

Polycom IP 500 Voicemail
Hello All, I have some Polycom IP 500 phones that I would like to have configured for direct dialing to our voice mail system. So far I have been unable to get the hard button labeled Voice Mail to connect to Asterisk without first passing through the message center prompts. I have followed all the Admin Guide instructions regarding the phones .cfg files and using

Yager on ZFS
Not sure if it''s been posted yet, my email is currently down... http://weblog.infoworld.com/yager/archives/2007/10/suns_zfs_is_clo.html Interesting piece. This is the second post from Yager that shows solaris in a pretty good light. I particularly like his closing comment: "If you haven''t checked out ZFS yet, do, because it will eventually become ubiquitously implemented
