Windows Installer 3.1 V2
Hello,
for an application I have to use the latest Windows Installer 3.1 V2
(http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B893803&x=10&y=15,
available as direct download link here:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/4/7/147ded26-931c-4daf-9095-ec7baf996f46/WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe).
Unfortunatelly the installation fails immediately with an error box popping
up:

Baldurs Gate II
When I downloaded Baldur's Gate II it wouldn't let me install it because it "was not marked as executable" So I ran it in the terminal and this debug thing came up

So your assumption is correct that you can plug anything you want into
it, its one your side of the demark, so if it doesn't work it's YOUR
problem.
