I unscrew the casing, extract the disk platter(s), slide a very strong
magnet over both sides of the platter surface then bend the platter in
half.
How secure is that ?
I can't afford a machine that

Perhaps I phrased that poorly. The idea is that fstab provides a minimal
set of mounts to get off the ground. (My understanding, not saying
that's how it's designed or intended.)
This follows the packaging pattern that every unique setting goes in its
own file. You don't disturb or risk breaking

Sangoma A200 4 port FXO card suddenly stopped answer on channels 2, 3, 4
I've been using Asterisk 1.2.6 with a 4 port FXO Sangoma A200 card for
the past month without many problems (other than the fact that the
Sangoma card doesn't disconnect hung up calls immediately, which I
posted about in another thread, and has still not been fixed),
however, I had a call from one of our clients today and they
complained that our phone system kept ringing through when they

Utility to zero unused blocks on disk
DBAN is obsolete. NIST 800-88 for some time now says to use secure erase or
enhanced security erase or crypto erase if supported.
Other options do not erase data in remapped sectors.

Utility to zero unused blocks on disk
Is there a utility to zero unused blocks on a disk?
CentOS 6.7/Ext4
I saw zerofree, but I?m not sure it would work on Ext4 or even work on this version of CentOS.
thanks,

Minutemen UPS Driver
My personal experience with a number of UPSes that are monitored via USB
cable is that communications errors such as the ones referenced in the
issue you linked to below are a result of USB hardware incompatibilities
between the USB chipset and the USB port on the motherboard.*? This is
NOT specific to the NUT project as it affects both apcupsd and in fact,
has been reported as an issue with

Analog FXO Woes Continue
I've been struggling with a test * install for a couple months now in a
small office and am just about ready to give up on it. It's not that the
system itself is a problem. I've got everything (attendant, voicemail,
FXS extensions, Cisco and Polycom hard-IP phones, and 2 VOIP carriers)
working except for the frigging analog FXO interfaces. These things are
driving me completely mad.

VoiceBlue GSM
Hello All * users.
I have been looking for a way to allow GSM termination through Asterisk
to occur. I am not a Telekom fundi and I have set up IAX2/IAX/SIP on
asterisk with the ZAP channels via the Digium TDM 400P. I am unable to
find any place that can tell me the cost of the VoiceBlue with a
currency to I can calculate the cost of buying one. Alternativly - or
just out of interist - I
