writefd_unbuffered failed to write 32768 bytes: phase "unknown"
Hi, I receive this error when rsyncing. I suspect this is because of network problems. But the 'Invalid argument' and 'phase unknown' makes it very unobvious. ... packages/scribus/scribus-1.2.3-0.rf.src.rpm Read from remote host rsync.sw.be: Invalid argument rsync: writefd_unbuffered failed to write 32768 bytes: phase "unknown" [sender]: Broken pipe (32) rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (796308 bytes received so far) [sender] rsync...

Clarifying different password systems
...t of the issues with encrypted vs clear-text passwords. The simple fact that one needs to set up users and passwords, at least in some configurations (namely, the recommended ones for NT clients), was not something that was obvious to me from the man pages, the How To, and the cookbook. It was so unobvious that I began to doubt it was necessary, even though I had done it a few years ago (and since kind of forgotten). To summarize the question and the comment: Given "passdb backend = tdbsam guest", " encrypt passwords = true", and NT clients, does the smbpasswd command work on my...

Are there any tools to reduce the IR file that caused a problem?
Hi everyone, I want to test the passes in llvm, and I got some passes sequences that caused the crash of opt. Although I can use bugpoint to narrow down the source of problems, I can only get some reduced and simplified IR and passes to reproduce the problem. My question is how to get the reduced IR of the original IR file to reproduce the problem. For example, "opt a.bc -a -b -c -d (where

Bug and patch for +terms with wildcards
...It's possible that a similar approach would be a neat solution for representing "alldocument" queries. Currently, a special query term can be created which matches all documents by creating a leaf query for which the term is the null string. This is a somewhat "magic" and unobvious approach - instead, we could introduce an "OP_MATCH_ALL" nullary operator, which would be converted to a postlist which matches all documents. It's not clear why an empty term should magically match all documents, rather than none, or indeed why it should have any special meaning. T...

Slightly OT: The state of users
Hello all, I don''t want this to be a tome'' but felt a comment was in order. Many new users (Linux and Shorewall are no different) are more apt to not read the manual(RTFM) as they view it as "Taking to long" and don''t understand it''s relevance in their particular scenario. This is unfortunate in the case of Shorewall. As the documents are not only

counting row repetitions without loop
Hi, I have a data frame consisting of coordinates on a 10*10 grid, i.e. > example x y 1 4 5 2 6 7 3 6 6 4 7 5 5 5 7 6 6 7 7 4 5 8 6 7 9 7 6 10 5 6 What I would like to do is return an 10*10 matrix consisting of counts at each position, so in the above example I would have a matrix where, for example, cell [4,5] contains 2 and [6,7] contains 3. At the

[LLVMdev] Linearscan allocator bug?
Folks, I'm running into something which looks like a bug in linearscan allocator. Of course I can't be 100% sure it's not some unobvious mistake on my part, so I'd like to hear your opinion. First, I attach two files -- LLVM asm and the asm for my target. The problem with assembler is: on line 171 it uses register gr2, which is copied from gr6 above, on line 161. The only predecessor of this basic block is jump on line 90....

PJSIP Weirdness, or just my weirdness?
Hello! Oh, wise ones, ponder with me over two of the surprises that populate the universe! I have a phone, that I sometimes cannot reach, connected via pjsip. It can call other extensions just fine, it can call out over a trunk to my cell, all is well, but getting a call? Forget it most of the time. Here is all the config relevant to that phone: [murftest12] type=aor qualify_frequency=1992

Newbie - getting two local phones to communicate would be a good start :)
Hi This is hard work :) I have read the Asterisk Handbook, BudgeTone User Manual, Andy Powell's useful notes, Zac Sprackett's Asterisk Resource Pages and more. I am not a linux newbie but am new to Asterisk. I have failed to find any docs that explain how to get a very very simple, minimal, system up and I am trying to get the following to work: 2 BudgePhone 102D connected on a LAN to a
