...ion of mysql supported by DarwinPorts appears to be 4.1.18. But all the sites appear to only have 4.1.19 or 4.1.20. So it looks like DarwinPorts is over a month out of date. I went to look at Fink to see if it had mysql, and it does, but it would appear to be the same problem. Is my timing just unlucky? ...ory (2) On my Linux box I can only go to about --vsize=120M --nsize=1000k. This is a Pentium MMX 266Mhz with 64Mb of memory. The machine crashes after "thinking" for about 3 seconds. It produces segmentation violation error and dumps core. It seems to me that, unless I have some unlucky machines, the problem is not just handling too small memory allocation ungracefully. I was hoping that someone has seen a similar problem to the one I am facing. I have a samba 3 server connected to an windows domain. All connections appear correct most of the users can connect via windows xp with no issue. However there are a unlucky few whose work stations cannot connect.
