User name / session idin logs
Hello everyone, I have a question about logging. I need to find out whether it is possible to see user id/session id inside logs or somewhere else. It is not passed in structured across the network, so where should I look to find out, which user (which session) is currently performing the actions?

The profiles copied to the local box under "C:\Documents and Settings" are set with Administrators (the group) - full control, the user name (DOM\unix_user_name) - full control and System - full control. Now fairly frequently when the user logs on it appears that windows doesn't like the copy of the profile that is on the box already and creates another with a ".bak" extension, then ".DOM", then ".DOM01", ".DOM02&quo...

Permission denied
...mod a+rwxt /var/spool/mail it works but I think it's very dangerous to have thaht rights. So I've tried to edit the dovecot.conf file and to change the mail_extra_groups = mail and to change the rights : chmod +t /var/spool/mail but it doesn't work ! The mails are in /var/spool/mail/unix_user_name Could you please help me to configure the /var/spool/mail to have a good security and to allow people to receive their mails ? Thanks Frederic
