[LLVMdev] Buggy assertion in APFloat::convertFromHexadecimalString
Hello. When running clang in Debug mode, I am getting an assertion failure when parsing the following line: float ko = 0x1.1p0; Apparently, the recent changes in the use of StringRef haven't been propagated to all places. Please find attached the trivial patch. Cheers, Enea Zaffanella. -------------- next part -------------- An embedded and charset-unspecified text was scrubbed... Name:

Comparing means and trends in short time-series
Dear R-list, I have a statistical problem with the comparison of short time-series, representing densities of fish in different streams. For each stream (6 in total, here below showed only part of the dataset) I have 8 years of density data, as follows: year density stream 1 2000 0.51 stream1 2 2001 0.87 stream1 3 2002 0.68 stream1 4 2003 0.56 stream1 5 2004 0.50 stream1 6

Problems with lpSolve/Memory ? R crashes
Hello! I have a curious problem, which I cannot solve. With my code I solve thousands of small linear programs with the package lpSolve automatically. But R crashes sometimes (~always, but always on different linear programs) in a strange way. For illustration, I tried to prepare a simple example, which shows the nature of the problem. The function aaa (see below) declares some constants (only in

5.1 surround channel coupling
It obviously would be nice to have such a mode available, for e.g. DVD audio compression. Apparently, the list doesn''t tell me too much about it. My questions are: 1. What is the current status of the 5.1 channel coupling in Vorbis? 2. If I''ll be interested in participation in its development, what is the recommended reading? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

I made some tentative suggestions for coupling Ambisonic B-format in a post "Vorbis Ambisonic coupling" on 4feb07 I gather from the last monthly meeting, that some of you, including Monty, had problems with the phase behaviour of B-format. Would anyone like a

Is it a bug ?
[[diverted from R-bugs to R-help by the list maintainer]] Dear Friend and distinguished R gurus, first of all really thank you very much for the marvellous tool that is R. I am using R 2.5.0, windows XP - italian language. I was perfoming some calculation on fractional exponential and I found a strange behaviour. I do not know if it is really a bug, but I would expect a different answer from

Dear R-users, I apply to your kind attention to know if someone have used the Splus software koq.q (Kent & O'Quigley's measure of dependence for censored data) in R and kindly can help me.
