Transcoded G.722 calls unintelligible with recent SVN head
For about 10 months I have been running a succession of Asterisk SVN trunk versions on an Athlon 64 X2 4400+ based machine with OpenSuSE 10.2 at my home. I have a variety of SIP phones (mostly Polycom) internally; my external connections are two POTS lines on a TDM400P (with HPEC) and an IAX2 link to a VoIP provider. I had Asterisk configured to allow G.722 and u-law on the Polycom phones,

Help! - Unintelligible prompts and music
I have set up a couple of test Asterisk servers and have never had a problem with sound. I've just done a fresh install on a dual 1GHZ PIII Asus box running Fedora Core3 with the Digium PCI Dev kit and following all the various Core 3 How-To's. I can make calls ok but when any sound is sent from the Asterisk box such as voice prompts and music on hold the sound is completely chopped up in

head.matrix() unintelligent
...ommand is convenient when columns are few. For large nxn matrices, however, head() and head.matrix() are still cumbersome. Is there a simple way of viewing both the columnwise and rowwise heads of a matrix? cheers, Bruce -- View this message in context: http://r.789695.n4.nabble.com/head-matrix-unintelligent-tp3002346p3002346.html Sent from the R help mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Bug#603391: pygrub: unintelligible error messages
This indeed still happens with xen-utils-4.1 4.1.4-3+deb7u1 Additionally, the problem is hard to figure out (as it simply excepts with "RuntimeError: Unable to find partition containing kernel", which it does in many other cases as well; perhaps it should collect other caught exceptions for debug purposes). The grub.cfg, in my case, was generated by update-grub (from inside the guest)

Bug#603391: pygrub: unintelligible error messages
The image argument to pygrub does not need to be an integer. The "invalid literal for int()" error probably means that your menu.lst contains something like "root=(/dev/sda)". The root should be specified in grub notation like "root=(hd0)". You might want to have a look at /boot/grub/devices.map. To map /dev/sda to hd0, you could add an entry like: (hd0) /dev/sda

Bug#603391: pygrub: unintelligible error messages
Package: xen-utils-4.0 Version: 4.0.1-1 Severity: normal File: pygrub The pygrub awesome error messages are captured below. Please tell me what pygrub was doing and why it failed. I also don't understand why <image> is supposed to be an integer. # '/usr/lib/xen-4.0/bin/pygrub' '--kernel=/vmlinuz' '--ramdisk=/initrd.img' '/dev/sda3' linux (kernel

E1 PRI to and from SIP screeching
Hi all, We have just set up trixbox latest with a Rhino r1t1 card, hooked up to a plain E1 PRI line. We call fine SIP to SIP, but as soon as we make a call from SIP to PSTN all sounds become unintelligible screeching or static kind of noise on both ends, when we call PSTN to SIP the PSTN side seemingly OK at least we hear no screeching sound, but the SIP side is a even worse screeching

password authenticaton secure ?
My question is regarding the possibility of someone wiretapping the communication and repeat the action. What if an intruder notice that there's a secure session starting (by guessing at the dst IP address and unintelligible payload) and then start capturing all the packets on this session for the purpose of repeating the whole session again? The secure user could add/delete interfaces and

SIP to IAX to SIP
Hi all, I have a machine running Ubuntu that I run Asterisk 1.4.x on and it runs very well. On that machine I have a SIP phone. I have configured a netgear wgt634u with asterisk and a SIP phone and linked the two systems together via IAX. Audio from Ubuntu to netgear is not bad, audio from netgear to ubuntu is unintelligible. Any clues as to whether this will work? Configuration suggestions?

CentOS5 installation crashes
Im installing CentOS5.1 on an Acer Aspire 5021 laptop with AMD Turion64 and ATI X700 128MB gfx card. I want to partition my 80MB ATA disk as LVM, so I: Choose custom partition. delete all existing partitions. add one LVM vg partition taking up entire disk. I do not change any default options. I then click the LVM button to add my logical volumes as follows: 5GB / 8GB /home 5GB /tmp 4GB /var

[LLVMdev] Phabricator and private reviews
I have to agree with Alp here. I’ve seen a number of review threads that either seem to be missing emails or in which the emails arrive days in unintelligible orders. I don’t know that we need to cut off use of it, but we need to prioritize resolving this issue. —Owen On Jun 25, 2014, at 10:59 AM, Eric Christopher <echristo at gmail.com> wrote: > I don't think it's all

Our basic system is as follows: P4 3.0 Ghz w/ HT, 1GB PC3200 RAM, 120 GB HDD, RH 9.0 OS, * from CVS several weeks ago, working OK for routing, VM, and AA, calls in on separate PSTN lines to Adtran TSU 600, into * server through T100P card. The hardware is not taxed at all with little over 20% proc utilization ever, low mem use, etc. All Phones are SNOM 200's with various firmware revisions

organisation of packages & CRAN
Hi, I?ve been using R on and off for a couple of years. I think R is pretty great but one thing I?d like to see improved is the way packages are organised. Instead of CRAN being a long list of packages having a short & usually unintelligible name I ?d like to see packages organised in a hierarchical way with that path acting as a hierarchical namespace just like you have in many other

GPLv2-only code in R?
Hello, I'm sending this to R-devel under the guideline that the ensuing discussion would probably be unintelligible to people who aren't programmers. If that's not right, I apologize. <http://www.r-project.org/Licenses/> says in part: "Some files are licensed under 'GPL (version 2 or later)', which includes GPL-3. See the comments in the files to see if this

ipmi_si error on booting
I'm getting the (unintelligible to me) error message ipmi_si: Could not set up I/O space ERST: Failed to get Error Log Address Range when I try to boot any OS on the grub menu apart from the one I last installed. (Actually, Windows also boots properly.) I wonder if anyone has had this error message, and worked out where it comes from? I googled for it, and it has come up many times; but

Samba server with NFSV4/kerberos
Hello Luc, thanks for your answer. If I understand you correctly than you are using samba4 as windows domaincontroller and you do not have another Windows DC? So after all you have exactly one Kerberos Server that is part of the samba4 server? Thanks Rainer Am 24.03.2015 um 12:41 schrieb Luc Lalonde: > Guten tag Rainer, > > We use our Samba4/Win2k8 AD domain to authenticate all our
