Inclusive language in LLVM: can we rename `job` in source code?
...ered Edition" (poor edition?)? Or "Black Hole" (disclaimer: this is astronomical term, not insult)? If not, why "master branch" is? Are we going to ban all words having any negative meanings? ``` If you have a word like “good”, what need is there for a word like “bad”? “Ungood” will do just as well ``` 1984

Probable bug in RODBC 0.7.x (PR#700)
...eported it informally on R-help and R-devel. The current (0.7) version of RODBC has a problem with missing values. It correctly gets missing "character" values (as blanks), but puts the last non-missing value of the same variable in place of missing "numeric" values. Doubleplus ungood ... Strange NTP problem
I have 30 identical Lenovo desktop systems running CentOS 5.1. On one of those systems the clock is running slow (5+ minutes from yesterday to this morning and another minute since this morning) despite the fact that NTP is running on all of them and they all have the exact same /etc/ntp.conf file (I compared the MD5 sums of that file on all the systems). Here is the output of

portupgrade and PHP
Hello, When I run portupgrade -ra and PHP needs upgrading I am faced with having to select all the options I want PHP compiled with (again). I hate this. How can I continually compile PHP with the same options as the last time? Thanks! Rick

We are not racists, but other guys think so.</div><div>So let's begin consistent and take into account all
