AGEod American Civil War vs. Wine 1.1.18
Hi,
I'm trying to run AACW (and WIA) under Ubuntu 8.10 x84. I installed Wine 1.1.18, Winetricks and installed AACW and patched the game up to 1.13b. Unfortenately, the game won't start because of an error ("Exception EAccessViolation dans le module AACW.exe dans 00004054. Violation d'access a l'adresse 00404054 dans le module 'AACW.exe'. Lecture de l'adresse 00002E9B.) followed by "Runtime error 216 at 00403E8A". As far...

ActiveX support in Wine
Hi list!
I'm currently trying to get a program called Polydoc to run under wine.
It is a kind of database app, for text databases. For some reason it
uses many ActiveX controls. So far all seems to be Ms "standard" controls.
But the program will not run. Anyone have a tip? I'm going to test
with a native ole32.dll among things.
Cheers,

Ctrl-C problem on HP-UX
Hello OpenSSH Developers,
I have been working on developeing an OpenSSH SD package for
HP-UX 10.20 and HP-UX 11.00 to deploy on servers we manage.
Unfortenately, I have enountered the ctrl-c problem which
manifests when the daemon is started in non-interactive
mode (in this case from the SD Daemon). When I manually
stop/start the daemon, the ctrl-c functionality works.
I have dug through the archives and found the work Garrick

How to allow a jail to use interface gif0
Heya,
i've build a few jails on my system for multiple purposes... I want one of
the jails run some ipv6 tunnels but unfortenately I'm not allowed to
access/modify gif0 from
inside the jail... How can I bypass this security issue (keep in mind that
want to run the jail on a ipv4 adress)?
Kind regards,

How to modify environment variables before executing a command
Hi,
I'd like to access and modify shell environment variables before
executing a command on a remote host via ssh. Unfortenatly, I can't
figure out the proper way to do this...
It seems, standard shell configuration files (e.g. ~/.bash_profile) are
not sourced before ssh executes a command. Of course I could explicitly
source them, e.g.
ssh user at host 'source ~/.bash_profile;
