How to distinguish between UNEXISTENT channels v/s UNAVAILABLE channels
Is there a way to distinguish, in the answer of the Dial command,
when a channel is not available (for example, an unregistered but
valid SIP user) v/s when the dialed channel is inexistent, even
when it matches an extension?
For example, I've the following simple dial plan:
exten => _XX,1,Dial(SIP/${EXTEN},10,)
exten => _XX,2,GotoIf(DIALSTATUS = CHANUNAVAIL?4:3)
exten =>

R 2.11 on Ubuntu 9.10 does not complain abt unexisting objects
Hi
I recently updated to R 2.11 and see a strange problem. When run into
the console, R does not warn when calling an unexisting object, see
below. I don't know if this is related, but I am not able to run the R
CMD BATCH properly... Did someone see a similar problem? Which
information can I provide more on this problem?
Thanks for help!

Uploads with FCKEditor
Hello everyone.
Since I''ve found very poor documentation about the rails FCKEditor
plug-in and Easy-FCKEditor (which is a fork of the very same plug-in),
I decided to bother you with my noobish questions.
I have this weird sensation that the image-uploading feature of
FCKEditor isn''t supposed to work magically, without some sort of
server side preparation, but I have no idea

addind imap support to rsync
when seeking for syncing two imap maildir folders one has the choice
among many programs such as imapsync, isync, offlineimap ... But all of
these provide individually only a few options.
For example syncing a folder by only appending unexisting files, i.e.
without deleting anything seem to be supported by no one real imap
syncing software stable release. Here "real syncing" means a

ARP queries generating entries in routing cache
Hello!
I''ve noticed a strange thing: when a client system generates an arp
query for an unexistent host, the routing cache entry is being made.
My system is Fedora 2 with vanilla 2.6.11.
the client is 10.1.1.2 with mask 255.255.0.0
the router/firewall is 10.1.1.1 with mask 255.255.255.0
Yes, the masks are different and this cannot be fixed easily.
So, when the client generates ARP

bug report of xm list and xm vcpu-list
...83879.7
# xm list 1 13
Error: Domain ''1'' not found when running ''xm list''
# xm list 13 15
Error: Domain ''13'' not found when running ''xm list''
An error message shows always the first one of given DomIDs,
when xm list is given unexistant DomIDs.
This is serious, when many domains are running.
Vcpu-list is same. In addition, it shows an unnecessary header.
This is unnatural.

R-2.0.0 findVar and findFun question
Dear all,
when working on a project with embedded R, I found out that R-2.0.0 causes
a problem where older versions worked OK.
Rf_findVar(...) causes the following error when used to find a generic function
(such as print):
fun = Rf_findVar(...);
R_tryEval(fun, ...);
Error in function (object, ...) : Invalid generic function in usemethod
Alternatively, using Rf_findFun(...) seems OK in this

Using --keep-dirlinks : recursive symlinks problem
Hello folks,
trying to make use of the new --keep-dirlinks feature for a synch port;
it works excellent but feels incomplete without a way for rsync to
ignore recursive links.
Example:

url.access-deny
Hello,
There are several proxy servers that for some reason try every night to
download some gif files that do not exist on my site.
They make about 70 requests on the same second and that''s not good to my
application
I was trying to use url.access-deny to deny the access to the unexisting gif
files, but for some reason it does not work (meaning that I still see the
request in the

Yam not generating repomd.xml
I think I have obeyed the docs. Metadata in yam conf says repomd
(formerly createrepo but led to "unexisting --update option" message).
Conf is otherwise pretty close to examples. I have downloaded Centos
4.4 ISOs, I have done yam -gv, ISO files are correctly mounted and
published via HTTP, etc but no xml files are generated anywhere under
/var/www/yam. What am I overlooking? Can I have

Mandrake 7.0 + 2.0.6 out of the box.
Hi
I'm experiencing a weird problem with an out of
the box installation of samba 2.0.6 + mandrake 7.0
+ kernel 2.2.14
I just added a new server within an existing network
including :
- 1 server running Slackware 7.0 (2.2.13) + samba 2.0.5b
- dozens of win98 SE workstations
Everything is working fine within the existing network
each station can connect to the samba 2.0.5b server.

Hi,
I don't know why smbmount doesn't work. My samba version is 3.0.0. Remote server (192.168.1.1) is running samba 3.0.0 too. Both are linux machines.
1) If I try to mount a existing share i get this
/usr/local/samba/bin/smbmount //192.168.1.1/PAVFN /monta
added interface ip=192.168.1.200 bcast=192.168.1.255 nmask=255.255.255.0

SIP Realtime 1.2.5 and Username/auth name mismatch ?
Hello,
I installed 1.2.5 and realtime SIP. The connection to the DB is OK
because I can get the values from the CLI.
Here are my 3 different cases:
1- If I put an unexisting user, I get 404 and I am not able to dial.
2- If I check "Disable registration" within Firefly it does not register but I am able to dial a destination (...)
3- If I leave registration ON, I get the 404 message

Bug#666135: Multiple "Domain-0", slow libvirt
In our case, this seems to be some kind of bug with xenstored.
For example, let's take our servers "vm7" and "vm10" into
consideration, which are configured exactly the same, Debian Squeeze
vanilla, no backports.
"vm7", as stated below, has more Domain-0 entries, but executes virsh
commands (f.e. virsh pwd, virsh list etc) faster (under a second) than

undesireable lazy loading
Hi,
My work with Rails has been fairly straightforward, until yesterday...
I''ve encountered rather a peculiar problem that I''m not able to solve
myself as a rails-newbie.
The model code looks like this:
class Link < ActiveRecord::Base
has_one :user_vote
end
class UserVote < ActiveRecord::Base
belongs_to :user
belongs_to :link
end
I have a SQL query that is

Improve the way the precheck script checks for the specified resources:
- look directly for a data center with the specified storage domain
- get the storage domain object from the storage domains attached to the
data center found
- similarly, look for the specified cluster among the ones attached to
the data center found
When everything is found, return the UUID of the storage domain, and of
