Dovecot virtual folders usage: seen in Tbird client if subscribed, treated as _real_ folders -- and archived to local/offline storage? How to prevent?

I see the aggregated/flagged messages.
When I sync for offline usage, TBird copies messages to local storage for offline use, as expected
but it ALSO *copies* all the 'virtual' messages to dirs in...

[PATCH 0/4] Overlay / format improvements
...dest modetest testing on NV5, NV17, NV34, and NV4A. I noticed
some odd issues on NV5 with certain scaling factors, but I'm somewhat sure that
those issues were there before - either the hw can't keep up or we're not twiddling
some clocks.
