Applying function to a TABLE and also "apply, tapply, sapply etc"
...though I am really keen to learn R, so I will be highly obliged if someone helps me understand with some simple examples as to how "apply", "supply", "tapply", "mapply" etc can be used?
I am sure this will go a long way in helping the new learners like me to undesrtand the proper use of these wonderful commands.
I hope I am able to put forward my problem properly.

Testing for normality of residuals in a regression model
Hi all,
Is it possible to have a test value for assessing the normality of
residuals from a linear regression model, instead of simply relying on
qqplots?
I've tried to use fitdistr to try and fit the residuals with a normal
distribution, but fitdsitr only returns the parameters of the
distribution and the standard errors, not the p-value. Am I missing
something?

Rails Genarator Destroy
Hi,
I created a custom generator, but i won''t some files deleted when i
call "script/destroy".
So, i''m trying undesrtand how don''t delete a specific file generated.
When i call "script/destroy" It''s destroying everything that was
created by "script/generate".
Anyone know about some option to skip file be deleted? or a way to skip it?

I noticed some posts back on the 25th September about my Rsync page

it's suitability, why it was there, etc, and how I did not conform to
the GPL.
I have since sought advice from the Rsync administrators, who have
advised me with regards to the GPL, etc.
