estimation of lambda and gamma with std errors for a weibull model
Dear R experts, How should lambda and gamma (with std.errors) be calculated for a weibull model with age as an independent predictor? I have assumed that this can be done with survreg with e. g. (summary(survreg(Surv(time, status) ~ age, dist = 'weibull')) ) and predict.survreg with e.g. (predict(model, se.fit = T, newdata = data.frame(age = seq(50, 80, 5)) but unfortunately I'm

I've been working with some developers that are desiring to use the multiplexing capabilities of OpenSSH, but have hit the default limit of 10. I've seen some discussions of increasing this default limit previously and have noticed that some of the Linux distros have increased the number to 64; I'm curious of the

how can I monitor a (dumb) switch ?
Hello there, Can anyone help me with a problem i have.... I have an ethernet LAN, made over dumb fast-ethernet switches (10/100mbit) without management, so there is no IP for the switches. What I want, if possible, is to find out if a switch is down or not. It''s like with routers... if you want to find out if a router is OK, either you send ICMP directly to the router, or to a host
