Hi Srs.,
Do you know if it's possible make a videocall from asterisk to UMTS
mobile phone?. Both technologies use H.263 like videocodec.

logarithmically scaled y-axis in vioplot
Dear all
I am trying to make a graphic with the "vioplot" package. I use the following code:
library(vioplot)
x1 <- GSMrxDL
x2 <- WIFI
x3 <- UMT
vioplot(x1, x2, x3, ylim=c(0, 10), names=c("GSMrxDL", "WIFI", "UMT"), col="gold")

Connecting a UMTS module via USB to asterisk

Hi,
we have a DSL outage in our office, which will last for one week.
So I have to use an usb umts stick, can someone recommend a stick /
provider for germany?
Maybe which works out of the box?
I know O2 has explicit Linux support but only Fedora 16 and up....

Huawei K3765 + Internet + SMS + Telephone
...ne connected to my switch of "kphone" on my workstation,
Now the problems with the Huawai USB-Stick:
Since HSPA is working and I get an internet connection, I am wondering,
how I can get the SMS and telephone part running, exspecialy the Huawai
USB-Stick is designed for parallel use of UMTS/HSPA and SMS/Voice
Can someone help me please?
Note: I am in Germany and use O2/Telefonica Prepaid SIM cards.

For what i know i can tell you more about corrupted packets.
The BER ranges from 10^-5 to 10^-2 for CSD/HSCDS

Hello,
I am searching for an internet usb surf-stick (umts) that works under
CentOS. Is anyone using such a stick and if so, which chip has this
usb-stick?
Would a Huawei E160E chip work under CentOS? Or maybe under CentOS with
the 2.6.35 kernel from elrepo?

Problems with getURL (RCurl) to obtain list files of an ftp directory
...T, DSI)
products, and then to download them. (part of the script by Tomislav
Hengl, spatial-analyst). Instead of the list of files (from ftp), I am
getting the complete html code. Anyone knows why this might happen?

Rasterisk freeze on 4G link
...9;m remotely managing an asterisk setup using an OpenVPN client on this
Asterisk box, connecting to an OpenVPN server of mine).
This box is mainly connected to PSTN.
It is also connected to the Internet, only for remote management.
The former ADSL link has recently been replaced by a new 4G link (UMTS).
I'm connecting to this box from a Debian Jessie/Gnome Terminal combo.
With this new link, whenever I launch a vim, a nano or a rasterisk session,
my terminal freezes (rasterisk) or remains empty (nano, vim).
When a session is frozon, I can open a new one at the same so it excludes a

Reading Version 4 .sdd files
Dear R-Help,
I've never had any trouble importing data into R until I had to import
an .sdd file for a class. The file can be found here:
http://www.math.umt.edu/steele/Math%20549/Farms.sdd. It begins with the
line "## Dump S Version 4 Dump ##". I first attempted read.S which
issued the message "not an S object". I then checked the Import/Export
manual which seemed to indicate that data.restore might do the trick.

10.0.1-rc1 release has been tagged
...rc1 release.
[1] shows 2 assets.
10.0.0 RCs had a lot of more assets.
I am missing the llvm-project-10.0.1rc1.tar.xz tarball.
Will you provide them later or is there a new development/workflow
decision I do not know of?
BTW, the source zip and tar.gz tarballs show no sizes.
I am using Mobile LTE/UMTS to download stuff from the Internet.
For now I used the "llvmorg-10.0.1-rc1" Git tag to build my
llvm-toolchain on Debian/testing AMD64.

...oxes, as a result it looks like groups. But I am having problems
with putting the names under the groups, and the thick marks.
