...e strange thing is, if I use grub4dos floppy emulation instead of sylinux/isolinux + memdisk all entries work. Syslinux/isolinux + memdisk + freedos image work in a virtual machine. One of my CentOS boxes has started giving me errors. The box is CentOS-4.4 (i386) fully updated. It has a pair of SATA drives in a software raid 1 configuration. The machines have Tyan K8SR as motherboard with Silicon Image 3114 chip sata controler and 2 x 300 GB Western Digital SATA drives.
