[LLVMdev] making emitInlineAsm protected
I would like to make the following member of AsmPrinter be protected
void EmitInlineAsm(StringRef Str, const MDNode *LocMDNode = 0,
InlineAsm::AsmDialect AsmDialect =
InlineAsm::AD_ATT) const;
I have some stubs that I want to emit in MipsAsmParser .
Are there any objections to doing this?

Oh, by gosh, by golly.
I don't think an occasional dose of 'real life', via a jab from the

why does rsync list files for one directory but not another
Hi, I'm running rsync 2.5.7 on RHEL3 locally and 2.5.4 on RH7.3
remotely. Below is a transcript of a session where rsync lists the
files that it will transfer for /usr/lib/courier-imap/etc but not for
/home/jeff. Would someone tell me what I need to do to get it to work?

KalmanSmooth problem
Hello,
In R I am trying to use Kalman filtering to find a solution for an hydrological problem. With Kalman Filtering I want to estimate the discharge comming from three storage bassins. I have programmed a function in R which can run KalmanSmooth. When I'm asking for the function and putting in values, R detects the following error: "Error in as.vector(data) : Argument "S1" is

PCI device export
Hello,
I''m trying to get to work InfiniBand card in DomU via exporting PCI device.
How does the export works internally?
I guess that pci frontend forwards stuff like pci_read_config_dword and
pci_write_config_dword to pci backend that actually does it. Am I right?
So if the driver of InfiniBand writes some config values to PCI config space
and these values are not applied actually,

What OS do you use for development?
Just out of curiousity, what OS do most of you use for development? Do
you prefer to use WinXP to do your development, and then deploy to a
linux server, or do you actually use some distribution of linux (Ubuntu,
Debian, Gentoo, etc) for development?
Thanks!
