shutdown by o2net_idle_timer causes Xen to hang
Hello,
we've had some serious trouble with a two-node Xen-based OCFS2
cluster. In brief: we had two incidents where one node detects an idle
timeout and shuts the other node down which causes the other node and
the Dom0 to hang. Both times this could only be resolved by rebooting
the whole machine using the built-in IPMI card.
All machines (including the other DomUs) run Centos 5.2

ssh-add: local private keys added to forwarded agents
Hi,
This may or may not cause concern for some people (considering a lot of
people store all of their keys on a single client system).
Snippet from draft-ietf-secsh-agent-00.txt:
2. Security Considerations
This protocol is designed only to run as a channel of the SSH
protocol.
The goal of this extension is to ensure that the users private keys

ssh
Hello! I would really appreciate any hints
to a little puzzle that has been gnawing at me
about remote sessions with ssh...
(and likely all connectivity programs...)
Because network connections can only talk in
ASCII, there is no way to tell the difference
between TAB and "Ctrl-i" (i.e. pressing Ctrl and i keys
together). BOTH are transmitted as same ASCII
code. Likewise, Ctrl-m and

Simple code dosn't work
I think you have a syntactical error on the line thats throwing the
error, you state:
> j.even?should be true #throws an error on j == 2, j == 4
should this line not read as:
j.even?.should be true

(OT) Where to post free source for AGI?
Hey all,
After figuring out a problem with AGI and freepascal, I have finished
writing a small Cepstral (http://www.cepstral.com) AGI app. I wrote a
small readme for it at http://www.datatrakpos.com/misc/dial/readme.txt.
I'd like to give it to the community (source/binary) and was wondering
where to post it?
The wiki?
Also, anyone have suggestion on licensing? LGPL? FreeBSD?
Thanks

gidNumber: uNNN
uidNumber: gNNN
userPassword: (somehow hashed, can only bind verification)

Any word on this update for CentOS 6? This one seems pretty bad if it's a
remote exploit.

Wine is very slow
Hi,
I'm trying to perform a installation of FF8 with wine, but the installation is very slow.
About 2h to perform 10% of the install. Is there any reason about that ? I've a good configuration so it's not the fault of my pc.
Second, no network connexion is available. Can I make it works ?
Thx for your help.

FreeBSD Security Survey
Dear FreeBSD users and system administrators,
While the FreeBSD Security Team has traditionally been very good at
investigating and responding to security issues in FreeBSD, this only
solves half of the security problem: Unless users and administrators
of FreeBSD systems apply the security patches provided, the advisories
issued accomplish little beyond alerting potential attackers to the

Debugging advice
Hi folks,
I am trying to debug a scientific / engineering application called SRIM
(www.srim.org, particularly the batch-mode version of SRIM 2003 called
"SRModule"). This is my first experience with a debugger like winedbg, so
I am still learning how best to use it.
My question for now is: given a known breakpoint, and a value to watch (in
this case $ecx), is there an easy way to find
