Samba trusted domain (AD) not recognized?
I have Samba running on FreeBSD which is a member of the HHP domain. The
HHP domain trusts the UFAD domain. However, users in the UFAD are now
unable to connect to shares on the FreeBSD box (HERMES). HHP users continue
to work just fine.
This behavior may have started when I upgraded from 3.0.14a to 3.0.22, but I
am not 100% sure - the users in the UFAD domain are not very active.
Any suggest...

Unable to use 'valid users' from Active Directory
...ble to return users and groups using wbinfo -g and -u. Samaba will
even allow users to connect that are in our domain. The problem exist
while trying to narrow down permissions to a share.

This does not work. It prompts the end user for a username/password but
it won't take anything. A share like the following does work but doesn't
bother asking the end user for credentials because the username/password
is already been entered to login to the AD...
