syslinux problem... (?)
...or x86_64 version etc) the screen scrolls up
and I get a screen filled with [14;5H[H[19;5
If I press a key a few times it displays the initial screen for a few moments
and then it scrolls up again displaying the above strange sequence. This is an
endless loop.
My board is a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R (v1.6) bios version FK.
Gerardo Exequiel Pozzi (djgera) replied
According to your description such string appears in syslinux screen.
Verify if it was burned OK MD5SUM is 1ceb835d6b3c8e390d0ec4b6c913dc27. If is
right, then such BIOS is really broken.

acpi for Intel p45 chipset (C2Duo)
Hello,
First time I install Centos (5.4) on a consumer Intel Motherboard. I've done 5+ AMD (am2 form factor) installs.
The MB is Gigabyte ep45-ud3r with a CPU:Intel LGA 775 E7600 wolfdale
I cracked the lm_sensors nut with 2 modules and lm_sensors from elrepo. The modules were
kmod-coretemp
kmod-it87
Now I'm trying to get cpuspeed to behave, or at least understand what it's doing. Here's my bios objects

Intel ICH10R on CentOS 5.4
Hey there..
I was wondering if anyone could share experiences they have had
with the Intel ICH10R SATA controller? I tried looking around
but all I could find were RAID references, I have no interest
in using the RAID functionality just basic SATA JBOD. Wondering
if there are any gotchas for performance, drivers, quality etc.
I normally don't touch anything that is not hardware RAID though
