Maybe I simply do not understand how this really works, my background is

Step by significance
Does anybody know how to perform a step function by significance of p instead
of AIC? I want to perform a forward-backward stepwise logistic regression
and want to compare the results obtained by steps of significance and by
steps of AIC. Thank you

R and Google Code-In
Dear all,
An application has been put forward for R to participate in Google Code-in.
This is a Google's contest to introduce pre-university
students (age 13-18) to the many kinds of contributions that make open
source software development possible.
We are looking for possible mentors and ideas for tasks to be developed by the students.
All the proposed tasks are available in this page:

--remove-source-files
Hello all,
I am using rsync version 3.0.3 protocol version 30, and I was

I use a crontab to dayly backup data,
something like:
rsync -tai --remove-source-files --ignore-existing --no-g --no-o --no-p
user@source:operativo/almacen/{ESP05/recorte/*.tar,EU/recorte/*.tar} /media/BACKUP3_PROMES10/PROMES10km/

step and glmer
Is it possible to use the step() function with a glmer() as an object? I
obtain the following error message when I try to do it: "Error in x$terms :
$ operator not defined for this S4 class".
I perform the glmer correctly but I can't do the step.
Thank you so much.
