Re: problem with disk virtio driver
Hi Andrea, Thanks for the reply; To shed some more light on the matter I performed a few more tests; each time doing a clean install. I installed ubuntu14.04 as the guest OS, keeping everything else the same. On my custom Linux I've created ubuntu VMs before (using ide drivers) and it all works file. This time I created the VM using virtio disk drivers and the installation didn't

Re: Finding the run script to execute virt-sysprep or other commands
Hi , I have installed the libguestfs-1.35.19 after running ./configure it says configure: error: supermin >= 5.1 must be installed, your version is too old but ubuntu14.04 trusty has the latest version as 4.1.6-1 as given here https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/supermin The configure as a result was not successful and the run file not generated yet.

Many Duplicated messages after migrate from 2.0.19 to 2.2.15
Hi, In my company, we have several failover clusters (~50k accounts per cluster) with Ubuntu12.04 and Dovecot-2.0.19 (without dsync, replication at block level with DRBD). We are migrating to active/active clusters with Ubuntu14.04 and Dovecot-2.2.15 with replication via dovecot-dsync. Each new cluster consists of two machines and each machine runs two instances of Dovecot (one for backend

Re: problem with disk virtio driver
Hi all, I have to admit Martin might have been right: I upgraded to qemu 2.6.0 and still I see the same problem with virtio disks on my custom built Linux box. I create domain using the previously mentioned domain xml definition and try to install ubuntu from an iso. Earty on during the installation I get an error: The attempt to mount a file system with type ext4 in Virtual disk1, partition#1

bug: cross-compile Clang/LLVM for ARM using Clang/LLVM
Hi renato, 1. The command above is followed by the guide[ HowToCrossCompileLLVM.rst ] and I specify some path(ex. <path-to-host-bin>). 2. The including x86_64 libraries is added because of some missing libraries(ex. "error: Host compiler appears to require libatomic, but cannot find it"). As I have found that the bugs needed to dealt with is some ARM-dependent libraries, I
