Install ubunto domU
Dear *,
I''m more used to work with RedHat like OSes. Still, I did not denied the
request from a user who wants a domU based on ubunto. I usually use
virt-install to do the job, with a script similar to this one:
#!/bin/sh
BASE=SL-4.7-i386-pv \
virt-install --nographics \
--nonsparse \
--paravirt \
--noreboot \
--file-size=4 \

And ran this command on the Ubuntu laptop:

Help to create bugzilla account
...ainer. (We are very happy users of [a gently
patched] redis at work; lots of writes; very good uptime.)
Having the ability to switch to jemalloc, we could design a test bench and
compare what the impact is.
Similarly, if someone cared, I could (presumably) alter the default R build
for Debian and Ubunto to also switch to jemalloc.
Anybody feel like doing some empirics?

[PATCH] fix udevinfo version string parsing
check_hotplug fails on one of my machines running ubunto 4.10 "Warty
Warhog", due to misparsing the udevinfo version string. The problem is
caused by an old version of sed that does not appreciate the
regexp. This patch fixes it, and also works on debian unstable and
SLES9SP2. Please apply...

Fatal: postmaster_address setting not given
Hi,
I'm getting: "Fatal: postmaster_address setting not given" errors in my
log file
dovecot ver: 1.2.12
Recently I tried to follow:
http://postfixmail.com/blog/index.php/postfixadmin-on-ubuntu-9-10/ on
ubuntu 10.10
(which works fine on ubunto 9.10)
I note that in 10.10 their is no dovecot-postfix.conf so I made the
appropriate changes to dovecot.conf instead and changed master.cf
dovecot transport line since I saw someone recently had the same problem:
dovecot unix - n n - - pipe

Centos in the Browser string ?
...dull
web page in 2 days, I thought I would analyse the visitors' operating
system preferences.
I can isolate from the browsers string:-
Android
Darwin
iPad
iPhone
Macintosh
Windows
X11
My C5 Firefox string is "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:38.0)
Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0".
Ubunto has "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:45.0)
Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0"
My questions are:-
(1) Why can't we have 'Centos' in the Firefox browser string ?
(2) Is 'X11' genuinely indicative of all 'real' Linux - both free and
commercial ? Android...
