I think Davide was asking about dsync. If so, the answer is no: dsync works only when both servers are Dovecot and needs some additional configuration to work through the network (see https://wiki...

Asterisk to CCM4 SIP Trunk one-way audio problem.
Hello, , I have some of asterisk to CCM4 SIP trunk oneway audio problems. I have setup a asterisk server. It's work great and have no any problems connect to local ITSP (using SIP protocol) . But we need to build a sip trunk to another CCM4 server. The network typology like this. SIP Phone (192.168.1.100) <-----------> 192.168.1.254 (Asterisk Server) 59.124. xx.xx <------------> [INERNET] <-------------> PIX firewall <---------> CCM4 1.The CCM4 side user can call to my asterisk extension and work great. 2.When I make a call from SIP p...

Gluster clients can't see directories that exist or are created within a mounted volume, but can enter them.
We've got an issue with Gluster (3.12.x) where clients can't see directories that exist or are created within a mounted volume. We can see files, but not directories (with ls, find etc...) We can enter (cd) into directories, even if we can't see them. - Host typology is: 2 replica, 1 arbiter. - Volumes are: replicated and running on XFS on the hosts. - Clients are: GlusterFS native fuse client (mount.glusterfs), the same version and op-version as the hosts. - Gluster server and client version: 3.12.2 (also found on 3.12.1, unsure about previous versions) runnin...

ls performance on directories with small number of items
...ing a _very_ old version of Gluster, I'd first suggest upgrading to the latest stable (3.12.x) and FYI 3.13 is to be release shortly. I'd also recommend ensuring the following setting is enabled: performance.stat-prefetch Further to this, additional information about the cluster / volume typology and configuration would help others assist you (but I still think you should upgrade!). -- Sam McLeod https://smcleod.net https://twitter.com/s_mcleod > On 28 Nov 2017, at 12:18 am, Aaron Roberts <aroberts at domicilium.com> wrote: > > Hi, > I have a situation wh...

ls performance on directories with small number of items
Hi, I have a situation where an apache web server is trying to locate the IndexDocument for a directory on a gluster volume. This URL is being hit roughly 20 times per second. There is only 1 file in this directory. However, the parent directory does have a large number of items (+123,000 files and dirs) and we are performing operations to move these files into 2 levels of
