[LLVMdev] [lld] How do I prevent .note sections from being eliminated?
...even if I use something like SDataSection, then I will still
need to modify ELFFIle::handleSectionWithNoSymbols(). What is the best
way to do this? Should I make the function virtual and override it in
AMDGPUELFFile.cpp?
In ELFDefinedAtom::doContentType(), SHT_NOTE sections are only assigned
the typeR[OW]Note ContentType if they have the SHF_ALLOC flag. This is
because any section without SHF_ALLOC is assigned the typeNoAlloc
ContentType before the section type is ever considered. Is this a bug
or are SHT_NOTE sections required to have the SHF_ALLOC flag?
Thanks,
Tom

This is a snippet of an email I sent to Mark Taylor (who I contacted thru

[LLVMdev] Anyone is building a DSP-C frontend?
Hi,
DSP-C is an extension to ISO C to support specific hardware features
in DSP, e.g. fixed-point typer, memory spaces and circular pointers.
It's generic for different DSP's.
How difficult is it to extending the llvm-gcc for this extension?
Any document like "hitchhiker's guide to extend the GCC fronted" ?

aggregate and names of factors
...mean)
(for two factors with short names, it is not such a big deal, but I
ususally have about 8 factors with long names...)
I wrote a modified 'aggregate.data.frame' function (see the code
below) so that it parses the names of the factors and uses them in the
output
data.frame. I can now typer aggregate(y,list(f1,f2),mean) ans the
resulting data.frame
has variables with names 'f1' and 'f2'.
However, I have a few questions:
1. Is is a good idea at all? When expressions rather than variables are
used as factors, this will probably result in a mess. Can one test
if...

[LLVMdev] [lld] How do I prevent .note sections from being eliminated?
Hi,
I'm working on an AMDGPU target for lld, and I'm trying to link a single
.o file with a .note section, but the .note section is missing from the
resulting a.out file. How can I control which sections get copied over
to the executable? Is there a target hook to implement?
Thanks,
Tom

reversing the order of a y-axis in stripchart()
Hi,
I am trying to plot a graph using stripchart() - my x-axis is categorical
and my y-axis is numerical. I would like to reverse the order of my y-axis
(i.e. with 0 at the top left and increasing numbers moving downward towards
the bottom left corner). My data are subsetted into 3 categories that I've
plotted on 1 graph using stripchart(add=TRUE) option.
Thanks for any assistance,
Regards,

Zyxel Prestige 2000W Firmware - EVIL
If you see a wj0011 version of firmware for Zyxel Prestige 2000W floating around
(I found it in a German forum), KEEP AWAY.
It completely trashed the wireless networking in my phone.

Win2k Printing Problems
I just joined this list, If this has been answered before I apologize:
I have a Redhat 7.2 box running Samba 2.2.4
I have a few printers running on JetDirect boxes that I am attempting
to print to.
I used printconf in Redhat to set them up within the linux box.
Everything works fine from the linux box.
I set them up within samba (see [printers] below), but when I print I
get "Failed to
