Cannot connect when using BindAddress
...ed on any system interfaces. Can't tinc make outbound connections
when listening on loopback? I can't see any reason why it should. This
system will never have other tinc daemons connect to it, it will only
ever connect to other tinc daemons in order to establish a VPN
connection.

Cannot connect when using BindAddress
Hi there,
Thanks for tinc, firstly. It's awesome. Now, I've found that if I specify:
BindAddress = 127.0.0.1 655
Then my tincd cannot make outbound connections (on attempting to
connect to another tinc daemon is receives 'Invalid argument').
Removing BindAddress fixes the issue. Unless I've misunderstood the
purpose of this option, is this a bug?
I'm running v1.0.35 on

mboot.c32, weird e820 map on HP blade machine, possible memory corruption
I'm seeing this on a HP Blade and i'm not sure why this is happning since
the nature of the issue is so wierd.
I compiled mboot.c with a DEBUG defined in the mboot.c file. In the funciton
init_mmap(), it prints the e820 map and on the HP blade this map values come
out to be totally random. Some weird numbers which dont make any sense at
all.
However, if i add a while(1); or a exit(1); at

Cannot connect when using BindAddress
The only thing „localhost“ can talk to is „localhost“ - by definition & independently of tinc.
What are you trying to accomplish with that choice?

quick and easy way to convert id3-tagged flac to flac-tagged flac?
So before i knew better, i encoded a lot of my CDs in flac and added
id3 tags (they worked, so great!).
I know i've seen mention of others doing this; anyone gone to the
trouble to write a tag conversion tool? Shouldn't be too tough,
but i'd rather not reinvent the wheel.

Bad mime type reported for flac file
Hi all,
It has recently come to my attention that the linux "file" utility
reports some (but not all) of my flac files as having a mime type of
"audio/mpeg". Obviously this is incorrect, but why is it reported as
such? I've cut and paste a few commands below from my shell to
illustrate what I'm seeing:
black:/media/mildred/music/Tool/10,000 Days$ file -i *
