winbind uid range missing or invalid
...aying and how to fix it
I am using samba 2.2.5-SuSE. The LINUX kernel is 2.4.19-3suse-SMP
I should also note that this LINUX is running on an IBM Mainframe computer.

Lockouts caused by Samba
...s? This is becoming a critical problem,
since it's effecting my users' work, and my mental well being... 8-)
(I have the 2.0.6 binary distribution ready to install, but I haven't done
it yet, in case it might help.)

Good old file locking
...e I'm seeing 2 PIDs,
I'm suspecting that this is one of each, right at the point of failure.
Any ideas on what to do? I tried to search the archives, but it looks like
they're hosed up. I really don't want to turn oplocks off, but I will if I have
to.

Hi all!
Can someone help me solve this?
