[PATCH] nouveau/codegen: allow tex offsets on non-TXF instructions (e.g. TXL)
Signed-off-by: Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu> --- This fixes the bin/fs-textureOffset-2D piglit test on nv50. Have yet to re-run the full piglit suite with this change in place, but it seems pretty obvious. src/gallium/drivers/nouveau/codegen/nv50_ir_from_tgsi.cpp | 8 ++++++++ 1 file changed, 8 insertions(+) diff --git a/src/gallium/drivers/nouveau/codegen/nv50_ir_from_tgsi.cpp

[LLVMdev] Inconsistent label syntax in LLVM assembly
Hi all, i'm writing a TXL (http://www.txl.ca) grammar and a revamp of bison/flex grammar for LLVM. I've noticed an inconsistency regarding label naming conventions. For instance, the following is a segment of legit LLVM assembly (human-readable) IR: br i1 %38, label %17, label %39 ; <label>:39...

[LLVMdev] Re : Source to source translation.
...of the primary goals of LLVM is to generate optimized object code on a variety of platforms. Even if you do not use any optimizations, your C++ code would still need to be lowered to LLVM, which makes it very hard to get the same code back (if at all possible). Maybe something along the lines of TXL would be more appropriate for what you want to do? [LLVMdev] Source to source translation.
Hello, I'm trying to do a source to source translation from C++ code to C++ code. I want the output to contains some automatically inserted annotations, and the rest of the code exactly the same as it was before the processing. Is this possible with llvm? Thanks. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

[LLVMdev] Sizeof a type?
Is there a way to get the sizeof a type? Say I've created a struct type without any explicit attribtues, and I want to call malloc() to allocate space for it. Can I get the size as an llvm::Constant* (or other llvm::Value*) given an llvm::StructType* or other llvm::Type*? TIA, -- Rick

[LLVMdev] Front End & Language Development Kit
...kit which support easy language definition and creation with IDE integration like Eclipse Xtext, JetBrains MPS. All the needed C++ integration code should be easily created through the kit. Some other similar projects from which you can get ideas are DMS Software Reengineering Toolkit, Rascal MPL, TXL, ROSE, Coccinelle, etc. where some projects are source to source transformations. Source to source transformation ability is much welcome where other languages can easily be converted to Clang. Ultimately there can be a definition of the grammar of Clang also to experiment or use as a basis of imp...
