Roaming profiles with Samba
...net use e: /home
net time \\csta /set /yes
...
Is there a way I can bind the users' home directories to E:\ ? Can I get
around the client workstations automatically mounting \\csta\profiles to E:\ ?
With thanks,
John

Problem joining samba to a samba-PDC domain
...be greatly
appreciated. I've searched for material covering this type of scenario but
so far have only come across discussions that focus on either (a) joining
w2k/xp clients to a samba-controlled domain or (b) joining a samba box to a
winNT/2k-controlled domain.
Many thanks,
John

Weird problem w/ user authentication
Dear all,
Have managed to put myself in a small bind with regards to user
authentication in Samba.
Somehow (don't ask...I have NO idea), I've managed to create the situation
where my Samba server denies authentication of one single user. Every other
user has continued access as before, no difficulties whatsoever.
When trying to login with this one user id, Windows 98 SE replies that
