OpenSSH ports and crypto issues
hi,
I am working on a windows NT version of openssh. It's mostly working
(ssh.exe, ssh-keygen.exe to be precise), except for some minor UI issues.
however, i have a couple of questions about making the port available:
1. minor issue: My port is based on the openbsd ssh source (2.5.2). Is
this acceptable, or should I base it on the portable source ? I think I
know the answer to that one. If

Understanding Problem with rsa min key length 1024
Hello,
Sometime ago min rsa key length was increased to 1024 bit and i have a
little understanding problem with this.
I hope somebody with some crypto-experience can enlighten me. To make
that clear, that is not about allowing lower keys in general.
Personally i would tend to use even longer keys(2048bit+).
However Due nature of RSA-algorithm in case of 1024bit this might result
in a key

link_to_remote from Controller
Hello--
I?m using Builder::XmlMarkup to create a menu tree and need to have some
gee-whizzy javascript to make the menus expand, fade, twirl and dance. Ok,
maybe not the last bit. Anyhow, because the html is generated mainly through
code like:
xm.li(:id=> ?menu_#{unique_id}?, :class => ?menu?){
xm << link_to_function(?menu name?, ?function_name?)
}
Unfortunately, link_to_function is in a helper and not accessible to my

New tuned encoder
...ates from roughly 300-350kbps. That's
a lot, but it also gets very hard to find something
it artifacts on :) Should be sufficient for archival
quality.
In addition to the old 160kbps tuned mode, I also
had a stab at an 128kbps mode. I haven't tested
it much, but you might want to give it a twirl if
you usually encode at that bitrate. I don't expect
the 128kbps mode beats to beat that of current CVS,
but hey, it should be better than RC2.
At least it'll give you something to play with
while waiting for RC3 ;)

3d plotting alternatives. I like persp, but regret the lack of plotmath.
I have been making simple functions to display regressions in a new
package called "rockchalk". For 3d illustrations, my functions use
persp, and I've grown to like working with it. As an example of the
kind of things I like to do, you might consult my lecture on
multicollinearity, which is by far the most detailed illustration I've
prepared.
