Used Darkplaces
---------------
I'm used darkplaces from SVN. Not sure what SVN revision it was a month ago, but the same problem happens with the current one. To get exactly the same engine source code that I currently have, do
$ svn co -r8212 svn://svn.icculus.org/twilight/trunk/darkplaces
Now apply the following attached "llvm.patch" to it. The patch changes:
* DO_CC to be "llvm-gcc --emit-llvm"
* DO_LD to be "llvm-ld -O2 -native -time-passes"
* CPUOPTIMIZATIONS=-march=athlon
* don't compile builddate.c on-the-fly at link time, be...

Ajax.Updater dropping first <OPTION> on IE?
...EXCEPT that the first <option> is missing with no
explanation.
I''ve tried an increasingly ridiculous set of things to fool IE into
rendering properly, including <option><option>..</option> on the first
partial iteration.. nothing. Frankly, it''s a little Twilight Zone.
Is this just old news? Do I have to resort to using
document.createElement(''OPTION'') here?

ext4 in 5.3
Hi guys - I'm really looking forward to 5.3 for the potential of ext4.
I am moving/copying image files lately 8G file and it is slow. I am
hoping that ext4 really speeds that up.
My question is: will we be able to boot ext4 file systems?
Will the boot partition still be ext3 and then have to mount the ext4
filesystem?
I did not see mention of it in the release notes.
Thanks,
Jerry

is.na(v)<-b (was: Re: Beginner's query - segmentation fault)
I think the thread ended up with several people (not only me)
feeling certain they didn't like `is.na<-` but with the
developers defending it and me not really understanding
why.
Uwe Ligges was going to come up with an example of
`<- NA` going wrong (sorry Brian R, I mean behaving
unexpectedly), but never did, and I think the problem
has been fixed. It was apparently a problem with
