Shared mailboxes, index files and 'per-user-seen' flags
Hello,
i have a dovecot server version 2.3.1 under CentOS 6.9 and we're
using shared mailboxes with index files shared. With this configuration
I can see a lot of error messages like:
Jun 6 13:20:31 mail dovecot: Error: imap(userA at tutech.de)<4513>
<onjjWPdtDuLAqG3R>: /export/home/imap/userA at tutech.de/shared
/userB at tutech.de/folder/dovecot.index.pvt view is inconsistent
In 10-mail.conf the location setting is:
location = maildir:%%h/Maildir:INDEXPVT=%h/shared/%%u
I thought setting the index files to...

Dovecot 2.2.14 and per user \Seen flags
...'t work on my system. For example UserB marks several
Messages as read in a shared INBOX from UserA and erverything seems alright but then suddenly all
seen Messages are marked as unread again and I see the following error message in the log file:

Interesting... imap is trying to allocate 128MB and failing. A couple of
questions:
0. Does this user have any unusually large emails?
1. Do you have any idea what the imap process was...

Problems with bridged networking
Hi,
I''m using Xen 3.0.3 on two servers with Debian Etch (amd64). These
servers have 10 nics (2 onboard and 8 in two 4-port cards) so that
every vm can have its own interface.
This worked so far with the Xen Version from Etch with a wrapper
script wich started 10 bridges at boot time. But now I''ve updated Xen
on one of these server to Xen 3.2.0 from backports.org and now the

dovecot/pigeonhole and sogo
Hello,
I have two systems one with dovecot 2.2.31/Pigeonhole 0.4.19 selfcompiled
through the src.rpms from ghettoforge on a CentOS 6.9 server and a second
system of SOGo (3.2.9, nightly) on CentOS 7.
Everything worked together until I made the update to Dovecot 2.2.31
Pigeonhole 0.4.19. Since then I get an error message when I

are held in a Windows 2003SP1 AD. We are now using Samba 3.0.21b and everything
