Help Need with aov()
Hi there,
I'm using R1.0.1 Windows 98.
This file contains some inputs and an aov function code. Can someone
check it for me? Somehow I got completely different answer when typing
them in R and in Splus.
Splus gives me this:

VoIP-to-TDM processing on-card?
Are there any cards that work with * that do the VoIP-to-TDM processing on the cards, with multiple interfaces?
The QuickNet Internet LineJack meets the description I believe, but it only has a single FXS or FXO. Are there any cards that have more than one FXS?
Thanks.

Your trying to squeeze blood from a turnip (not tulip) by trying
to run 8 interfaces at once on that system.

Voicemail from GTalk says "from an unknown caller"
When I listen to voicemail from my Google Talk buddy, the envelope says, "from an unknown caller". But the voicemail correctly records the caller ID of calls that arrive via Zapata into the same context that receives Google Talk calls. How can I configure the voicemail to include the caller's Google Talk identity in the envelope?

How to place a call to a Google Talk user?
I am trying to "dial" a GTalk, ie @gmail.com, address. I inscribed this address in jabber.conf on the buddy= line. Upon executing the Dial application, I hear only a brief brief ring, then nothing. What might be the trouble?
As the Dial application starts trying, the JABBER chatter on the console includes some "INCOMING" entries that name IP addresses. The one with

Association count caching
Hi all,
5.times { foo.association }
will produce 1 query to the DB; the result is "cached" (for want of a
better word) in a variable somewhere. However:
5.times { foo.association.count }
will run the query 5 times. Why?
I could use an association extension to cache the count value for me,
but first I want to understand whether this is a bad idea and has been
deliberately avoided?

Testing class variables
...this, I realised that in a unit test, class variables
do not get "reloaded" between tests like everything else. Is there any
way to make them "reload" (I would have though given the nature of tests
that would be the default behaviour).
Many Thanks

Altering the accessor of an association collection
I want to be able to do something like this (for example):
class Person < ActiveRecord::Base
has_many :friends
def friends(living_in = :uk)
# filter based on parameters here
end
end
Is there any way I can redefine the accessor for an association whilst
still being able to get the values? Basically, I''m looking for an
equivilent of read_attribute() for associations.
