TuneQueue!!
...tried with diff playlist and config file for each instance of ices process. It is working.. Initially it is support only 2 instance, after i changed the source directive in the icecast.xml file it is supporting more than the default one. .Fine.. Now as Thomas to;d i downloaded the tunequeue tar file from sourceforge. But According to the INSTALL file there is no seprate Utils.tar, cgi-bin in the tarball.. So i there is a road block. Thanks You All for u guys replay. -kadhir icecast-request@xiph.org wrote: Send Icecast mailing list submissions to icecast@xiph.o...

Web Based scheduler like LiveSupport for icecast
You might like my project called tunequeue, though it might be overkill or too much effort to install. It does provide a web interface to ices and allows fairly complex scheduling. It is perl with a mysql backend. http://tunequeue.sf.net -Aaron On 7/4/06, oDDskOOL <oddskool@gmail.com> wrote: > > Hi, > > I think what...

disable ID3 update
Hi, I'm running Aaron's tunequeue scripts for my radio site. (tunequeue.sf.net) I have ices2 to read Ogg Vorbis files and feed the icecast2 server with those files. Could someone please tell me how can I disable ID3 updating? I want all clients to only show the name of the radio, but don't get any of the ID tag information...

Web Based scheduler like LiveSupport for icecast
I've been scouring the web for a web based scheduler for use with icecast. Here is what I'm looking for: I want to be able to say "at X time, Y file/playlist will play" I want to be able to control icecast from the web I want to be able to lock control of this site with some form of authentication Preferably PHP, but ruby/rails would be good too. Any suggestions? --

Access for scripting??? Displaying play history
They are on the Shoutcast list, so that may be what they are using. Shoutcast does provide an XML file that has past and current song data. I suppose with a bit of XSLT magic, I could use that. I'd rather use icecast. :-) On Thu, 2006-09-14 at 12:23 +1200, Ross Levis wrote: > This site is probably using commercial broadcasting/streaming software > under Windows, such as StationPlaylist

Access for scripting??? Displaying play history
first, what are you using for a source, often this provides the info you need? second, it may be way overkill, but I have written a perl based web interface to ices/icecast, it's here http://tunequeue.sf.net you might be able to strip out just the parts you want and use it. -Aaron On 9/13/06, Eric Princen <eprincen@boatertalk.com> wrote: > > They are on the Shoutcast list, so that may be what they are using. > Shoutcast does provide an XML file that has past and current song d...

...at user can select song according to there choice. > otherwise any tool(player) which will fetch play list from icecast/ices There is a few possible approaches here: group A - ices2 playlist mode: there are a few scripts around that will feed ices the next file to play and have a web-interface. Tunequeue is one of them. For the others use google. group B - other source clients with web-interface: IIRC there are a few around that have web-interface-plugins: xmms2 mpd (beware, some recent versions had problems with connecting to icecast) vlc ... > basically i want to setup a live radio station...

Icecast Customizations
All, This is a mix between a request for help and an oh gee wiz type of question. I want to know how, if it is able to be shown (some people don't like to share how they made their stuff unique so I am cool with that) different ways they have customized their Icecasts. I have a server(set) that is running fine now, and I want to grow it out in some way (different streams for

Web application to feed icecast
Hello, i guess this question appeared before, but I haven't found anything by searhing the whole morning. I know that some web radio stations use icecast2. They also have a web application that makes it possible to request songs, add items to the playlist of the source client and so on. Most of the web radios have developed the web application by itself (i guess so). I'm not able to
