SSH_CLIENT _not_ set when doing a command
Hi, I'm trying to create an dynamic dns system by using the nsupdate (or Net::DNS) trough a non-passphrase protected ssh session. I've keygen'ed an extra key, with no passphrase and using it, i execute a litte script on the server, which updates te DNS records. (something like this: ssh pickup /usr/local/bin/updatedns 10.1.2.3) This al works fine and dandy. I would like to protect

No password prompt for ssh from perl script
Hi, I need some help from you guys for one issue I am facing with my script. While logging into localhost using ssh from command prompt it works: It works from command prompt --> ssh loginid at localhost But when we try to login to localhost using ssh from perl script using pseudo terminal, I am getting the following without any password prompt. Encrypt some services with ipsec
Hi all, I have two prodction servers with FreeBSD 5.4 (all security patches are applied). They running some services like dns, ssh, http, ftp, etc. But I woukd like to encrypt some services for some hosts with ipsec when it is accessed. For example: - DNS resolution: not encrypted. - DNS replication master-slave: encrypted by ipsec. - Telnet: encrypted by ipsec for some hosts. Deny
