3.6p1 bug on SCO OpenServer

SCO OpenServer 5.0.5, issues with MAXPATHLEN and tty devices

option:
error: open /dev/tty failed - could not set controlling tty: No such device or address
If I alter the config.h line that defines HAVE_DEV_PTMX to:
#undef HAVE_DEV_PTMX
then it compiles with code that seems to work exactly as expected,
choosing tty device names like /dev/ttyp8.
The above error message does indicate a real problem, not just
a potential one.
At the very least it prevents me from running resize which makes
using the terminal very tricky.
Both of these issues seem really to be problems with the configure
script. (configure should find MAXPATHLEN for you,...

No password prompt for ssh from perl script
Hi,
I need some help from you guys for one issue I am facing with my script.
While logging into localhost using ssh from command prompt it works:
It works from command prompt --> ssh loginid at localhost
But when we try to login to localhost using ssh from perl script using
pseudo terminal, I am getting the following without any password prompt.

Encrypt some services with ipsec
Hi all,
I have two prodction servers with FreeBSD 5.4 (all security patches
are applied). They running some services like dns, ssh, http, ftp, etc.
But I woukd like to encrypt some services for some hosts with ipsec when
it is accessed. For example:
- DNS resolution: not encrypted.
- DNS replication master-slave: encrypted by ipsec.
- Telnet: encrypted by ipsec for some hosts. Deny

The options -x -v gave me an error that no such option so I ruined it with —debug option.
