Bug#477525: Suggested fix
...figment of network-route's imagination; I can see no evidence of it elsewhere in the Debian Xen packages. Since network-route claims to default to eth0 and does not document vifnum at all, the obvious fix would be to change: netdev=${netdev:-eth${vifnum}} to: netdev=${netdev:-eth0} ttfn/rjk

Nothing techhy, just a greeting
...ning Asterisk on a RedHat9.0 system, with a VoiceTronix OpenSwitch12 card (sorry Mark!) and I really like Asterisk, it's reminded me why I started working with OpenSource. What a great team here, I hope I can bring something to the forum. So, half a test posting, and half a greets! Bug#520641: Cannot create HVM domain
This happens when there's not enough free memory to compensate the memory overhead of domain creation, xend balloons down dom0 by 2MB to work around this, but sometimes it's not enough. Freeing more memory manually, or disabling ballooning of dom0 altogether (a good idea in any case) fixes it. -- Romain Francoise <rfrancoise at debian.org> http://people.debian.org/~rfrancoise/

proper use of Internal Timing
Hi All, Could anyone tell me the real use of "internal_ timing=yes" option on asterisk.conf file? I am using asterisk 1.4.22. As per my understanding if we don't have any TDM card installed with appropriate driver, we use internal_timing = yes to get the timing from ztdummy /ztDahdi. Is there any advantage on enabling "internal_timing=yes" even if we are proving timing

Stripping out textile markup
Hi, I have several hundred pages of text, all carefully marked up with textile, which I use redcloth to convert to html for display. Now I find I need all these pages to alternatively output plain text - ie. A-Za-z0-9 and simple punctuation only. Any suggestions on the best way to do this? My only thought is to let redcloth do its stuff, and then strip out the html tags - but it feels wrong.

static box sizing problems
Hi, I tried this one over on the main wx-users list as well, but thought I would try it here since I am using wxRuby: I am using wxWidgets 2.8.7 on a linux box using the GTK build. I have pared down my issue to the simplest case: I am trying to use a horizontal BoxSizer to split a frame into two sections: a left and right side. I want the left side to stretch proportionally and I want the

Hi Everyone, My name is Sean Lindsay, and I have recently joined the wxRuby project. I have been talking with Alex and have agreed to update the tutorial. I have started by placing a link to a new temporary tutorial page so that the old one can stay in place for the time being. I have written up a preliminary table of contents and would be happy to hear any

Problem adding DCs
I'm having some weird issues trying to add a 3rd DC to my domain. All machines are on CentOS 6.5 running Samba 4.1.11 from sernet. No problems with my existing two DCs (as far as I know). However, I tried to add a 3rd DC, and in samba-tool drs showrepl I see errors like this on my existing DCs: Last attempt @ Fri Sep 26 17:48:14 2014 CDT failed, result 8 (WERR_NOMEM) on the new
