Undefined references during compiling

but it still trudges along and compiles. Since these appear to be
references to function that can't be found, does this represent a
problem or can I still go ahead and perform an install?

Performance based choices
I've stopped trying to find a HowTo that suits me right away, and
instead I am happily trudging thru the Dovecot wiki, article by article.
I have right up front thought of one question, a general one, and some
detailed versions of that same question:
Generally, is there much general performance and reliability background
data available for making the basic choices?
Say: 1st.

error message, the a group listing.

Making a custom selection form - newbie
Hello all,
I''ve been working with Ruby on Rails for a few weeks now. It''s difficult
for me because I don''t have much experience with Ruby, Rails, MySQL, or
any other web-languages. But I''m trudging on and learning a lot.
I''ve been working on a web application for my dad''s website; it''s a

Poor programming support
Ogg format is great, but the programming support is so awful! After three
days, I still haven't managed to add a simple playback function to my
software. I know I can make it with a couple of more days, but it isn't
really worth it. BTW, I'm an very experienced programmer.

Extremely Slow Pop3 Downloads, Evolution 2.0.2
Hello All,
We've been running Dovecot for imap for quite some time and have had little
trouble with it. However, we recently switched over to using dovecot for
pop3 because of simplicity as well as security issues with the older UW
based pop server.
I've noticed one serious problem. The only client that seems to have any
issue at all with the server is Evolution. In pop3 mode, it takes a

[PATCH] Fix qemu-dm segfault when multiple HVM domains ---Was: qemu-dm segfault with multiple HVM domains?
Hi, John
Can you try the attached patch ?
This issue can be reproduced on SMP platform, while the domain 0
is UP. The reason is, after finishing a dma request, the dma thread will
trigger the interrupt and then clear the call back function. When guest
get the interrupt , it will try to check the call back function, if it
is set, then it will trigger a dma request again. So if the checking for

[PATCH] ram/gf100-: error out if a ridiculous amount of vram is detected
Some newer chips have trouble coming up, and we get bad MMIO reads from
them, like 0xbadf100. This ends up translating into crazy amounts of
VRAM, which destroys all sorts of other logic down the line. Instead,
fail device init.

Tips & best practices for asterisk troubleshooting & parsing logs
Hello all,
I have been running asterisk systems since summer of 2008. I do not claim to be an expert. But I have worked through many issues during this period. I have setup & manage 5 systems, which serve 6 companies total (and of course process calls for all of the people they do business with).
I have always been happy with asterisk (well, obviously less happy during the problem times...

First, I _do_ believe Samba is better than sliced bread (hey - you can't
get fat by using too much Samba :), and I have enormous admiration
and gratitude for the Samba Team. (Okay, no, I haven't sent any pizza

But, I've got a problem (what else is new?)
Win 95 clients in our public labs/classrooms are experiencing failed

Cannot rake migrate on OS X After New Install, Tons of Debugging
I''m getting ready to go to the Rails Studio in Pasadena next week. As
part of the prep for that event, I was instructed by the Pragmatic
guys to download and install a new Rails 1.0/Ruby 1.8.4 configuration
to my OS X 10.4.4 box. I did that three or four days ago. Ever since
then, I cannot run a rake migrate command successfully anywhere in my
Rails world. (Mind you,
