Any chance of getting compression support via the zlib plugin for dovecot deliver in future versions?

I'd like to override the sieve settings in dovecot.conf for a deliver instance that is being run from a custom archiving script. This is dovecot 1.0.15 on debian lenny. Is this possible? Doesn't appear to be looking through the WIKI. If it's not any suggestions? The problem is the user specific sieve scripts override where the archived mail is supposed to be stored

This is just an inquiry about how rsync calculates its transfer speeds. I'm using rsync over ssh to pull data from our central office to another office.
